H.J. Deepak (44), a resident of Gokula Road in the town, passed away on Tuesday afternoon. He leaves behind his wife, a son, parents, brother Venugopal of the Forest Department, sister and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Hunsur Burial Grounds today, according to family sources.

S. Syed Abdul Azeez (85), retired Chemistry Professor at Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru, passed away on Dec. 16 at his Bengaluru residence. He leaves behind two daughters, sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Namaz-e-Janaza and burial took place on the same day at Khudus Saab Makan in Bengaluru.
