Anti-Conversion Bill passed in Council

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Legislative Council has passed the Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion-2021 Bill, better known as the Anti-Conversion Bill. The Bill, which was passed in the Karnataka Assembly in December last year, sailed through the Legislative Council on Thursday with the ruling BJP having enough numbers, despite stiff opposition from the Opposition.
