Daniel Fernandes (68), a retired Forest Department employee and a resident of Kalkunike Housing Board Colony of the town, passed away here on Monday night. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the Christian Cemetery in Hunsur on Tuesday, according to family sources.
