2nd National Inter-Club Swimming Championship: Dolphin Aquatics, BAC Swimmers fare well on Day-1

Dolphin Aquatics and Basavangudi Swimming Centre swimmers hogged the limelight on the first day of 2nd National Inter-club Swimming Championship 2017 being held at Chamundi Vihar Stadium by grabbing most of the medals at stake in the Group II, Group III and Group IV boys and girls sections respectively.

Group II boys: 200m Freestyle: 1. Aaryan Bhonsle (SGTIDM Sainsa 2:05.03s), 2. Veer Khatkar, (SGTIDM Sainsa 2:05.96s), 3. Mathews Koshy, (Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre 2:08.01s).

Group II: 200m Breaststroke: 1. Swadesh Mondal (SGTIDM Sainsa 2:30.48s), 2. Kalp S. Bohra (Pooja Aquatic Center 2:34.08s),3. Bhargav Phukan (SGTIDM Sainsa 2:38.91s).

Group III: 50m Butterfly: 1. Sanidhya Chouksey (RPM Dolphin Residential Swimming 30.73 38s), 2. Nayan Vignesh (Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre, 31.27 36s), 3. Anshav Jindal (Dolphin Aquatics 31.32 36s), Shreyas Venkatesh (Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre, 31.32 36s).

Group IV: 4x100m Freestyle relay: 1. SGTIDM Sainsa (3:51.94s), 2. Basavanagudi Aquatic (4:00.96s), 3. Dolphin Aquatics (4:05.23s).

Group II: 200m Medley: 1. Swadesh Mondal (SGTIDM Sainsa 2:15.58s), 2. Bhargav Phukan (SGTIDM Sainsa 2:24.16s), 3. R. Vaibhav Shet (Global Swim Centre 2:27.66s).

Group III: 100m Backstroke: 1. Sahil Laskar (Dolphin Aquatics 1:04.42s), 2.R. Akshaya Shet (Global Swim Centre 1:13.26s), 3. Nayan Vignesh (Basavanagudi Aquatic 1:17.19s).
