Mysore/Mysuru: The 31st International Nirantara Kalemane Festival on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava was held on Nov. 5 at Kalemane Sabhaangana by Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru. The Dance Gurus inaugurated the programme.

It featured five mesmerising performances by extremely talented teams. All artistes performed around 25 variety compositions of Kannada Vageyakaras marking Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations.

The performers included disciples of Guru Natyakala Mayuri Uma Maheswari, Artistic Director of Aaradhya School of Fine Arts, Bengaluru; Disciples of Guru Gayathri Balaji & Guru Savithri Vijayakumar, Founder & Director of Abhinaya Group of Performing Arts, Bengaluru; Disciples of Guru Annapoorna Kateel, Bengaluru; Disciples of Guru Harish Raman, Director of Sri Raja Rajeshwari Nritya Kala Mandira, Tumakuru. Also, a Yakshagana performance by Guru Annapoorna Kateel, Bengaluru, featured in the Festival.

Raghu provided sound and lighting facility for the event. There were about 70 artistes.
