40 horses screened at free health camp

Mysuru: People For Animals (PFA), Mysuru, in association with Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), Ooty and Jeevan Daya Jain organisation, conducted a free health check-up and treatment camp for tonga horses near Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple here yesterday.

Veterinarians Dr. Ashwin and Dr. Twessa, along with a team of 40, conducted the camp and provided necessary treatment.

The team was supported by Murthy, Rajesh, Lingaraju and Tonga Association President Fayaz Ahmed.

Vitamin powder and other medicines were distributed free to horse owners on  the occasion.

PFA Mysuru Chapter head Savitha Nagabhushan, who spoke on the occasion, said that the PFA will be conducting a free check-up and treatment camp for horses at Srirangapatna on May 23.

Naigayle of WVS, Ooty and others were present.
