Mysuru’s National Skating Champ Dr. Varsha S. Puranik, representing Karnataka in the 55th National Roller-Skating Championships-2018 at Vaizag, yesterday won two golds in the women’s 10kms Road Race and Sprint event.

Varsha, an Ekalavya awardee, bagged two golds, while Mysuru skaters, Ananya bagged a gold in the 12-16 years girls 10,000m points Road Race. Dhanush Babu won gold in the Sprint men’s section. Tejus Ramesh won gold in the 12-16 years Sprint for boys. Shika Rai won the gold in the girls 12-16 years sprint for girls. Poorvi won silver in the U-12 girls section. Mound Babu won bronze in the senior women’s section. Nithya Ramesh bagged silver in the 12-16 years girls 10,000m points Road Race.
