Over 6,000 beneficiaries selected for Anila Bhagya Scheme

Mysuru:  A total of 6,323 beneficiaries have been selected from the district for the Chief Minister’s ‘Anila Bhagya Scheme’ aimed at providing LPG connection. The beneficiaries include 2,881 from T. Narasipur, 2,137 from K.R. Nagar and 952 from Periyapatna.

Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep has, in a press release, said that ration card holders who do not have LPG connection, have been despatched selection letters.

All the selected beneficiaries were asked to submit online application from their respective Gram Panchayat office. But so far 1,064 beneficiaries have applied online and as such, those who have not applied online, are asked to submit the copy of necessary documents such as ration card, Aadhaar card and Bank pass book, the release said.
