Monkey menace continues

March 23, 2017

Sir,

It was very nice to hear the news about putting an end to the monkey menace around the Kukkarahalli Lake by the Forest Department staff and MCC officials. But is this really an end to this menace ?

We could still spot certain stray monkeys around the Saraswathipuram Swimming Pool road area entering the individual houses and spoiling the beautiful plants. People are scared to open the windows and doors.

It would be great if some patrolling is done in this area by the concerned authorities during day time and stop the menace of these “markataas” completely so that residents in this area could heave a sigh of relief !
