Mysuru: A man was assaulted by a group of youths for asking them to ride their bikes slowly. The incident took place in Udayagiri Police limits on Saturday night.

The man who was assaulted has been identified as Santosh.

On Saturday at about 11.30 pm, Santosh was walking on the 1st Cross in K.N. Pura when he noticed a couple of bikes coming in full speed behind him. He stopped them and asked the youths who were riding the bikes to ride slowly. Irked over this, the youths identified as Umesh, Chandan and two others, allegedly abused Santosh using foul language, assaulted him besides threatening to kill him.

Following the incident, Santosh has lodged a complaint at Udayagiri Police Station.
