Mysore zone emerged champions in the Sri.S.A.Srinivasan Memorial inter-mofussil tournament by winning all their five league matches in the tournament played at Bengaluru. In the last league match, Mysore zone beat Mangalore zone by 34 runs to emerge triumphant on Thursday.

Batting first, Mysore zone scored 172 in 42 overs. Gowtham Sagar top scored with 61 n.o and skipper M.B.Darshan chipped in with a useful 45. In reply, Mangalore zone were bowled out for 138 in 37.5 overs. A.R. Rakshith top scored for Mangalore zone with 33 runs. Varun Mahendra bowled well for Mysore zone by taking 6 for 39.
