Sir,
The recent posturing by the Tourism and Sericulture Minister against the MRC has been widely covered by the press and as a common citizen of Mysuru I was wondering whether the top priority of the Minister is to shut the racing activity and dismantling of horse stables or to address the rot that has set in his Tourism Department which needs his immediate and urgent intervention.
If the Tourism Minister is bent on converting the race course and the golf course for starting a Botanical Garden, then he should be writing to the PWD Minister for his consent and action.
I was also wondering if every Minister starts interfering in Departments controlled by other Ministers, one can only expect utter chaos and confusion among the officials concerned and it becomes free for all.
I believe that only PWD Minister has the prerogative of questioning the actions of MRC since his Department has leased the land to them. Therefore, the Tourism Minister has no locus standi in so far as MRC’s affairs are concerned. Will our Chief Minister rein in such loose cannons in his Cabinet?

I think the minister of tourism has some mental problems as indicated by his obsessive effforts over the past decades to destroy the MRC!
