Mohammed Jinan and Laiba Khayum, students of Gnanodaya School in city, excelled in the Under-10 category of the 17th National Karate Championship-2018 organised by Okinawa Karate Do Shorinryu Shorin Kai at University Gymnastic Hall, Sports Pavilion, in city recently.

While Jinan won Bronze Medal both in Individual Kata and Kumite categories, Laiba Khayum won Silver in Individual Kata and Bronze in Individual Kumite category.

Children of Mohammed Khayum, Jinan and Laiba are trained under Sensei Rajendra Prasad.
