Mysuru: A woman, who was returning to Mysuru from Bengaluru in a KSRTC bus was relieved of her gold chain by a girl seated next to her and a complaint has been lodged at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.

The woman, who lost her gold chain weighing about 80 grams, is Dakshayini, a resident of Roopa Nagar in city.

On Jan. 28, Dakshayini, who had been to Bengaluru to attend a marriage ceremony of a relative, boarded a KSRTC bus to Mysuru from the Satellite Bus Stand. As the seat next to her was vacant, a girl occupied the seat, introduced herself and began to talk with her during the journey to Mysuru.

When the bus stopped at Srirangapatna, the girl, who got down from the bus brought two packets of juice and gave one to Dakshayini while she drank the juice from the other packet.

She then lodged a complaint at Lashkar Police Station in this regard and the Police, based on the complaint are investigating.
