Mysuru:  L&T is a leading player in the electricity-metering segment in India. Metering and protection systems, which is part of Electrical and Automation business group of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is celebrating 25 years.

L&T started manufacturing electronic energy meter at Mysuru in 1994 in a small way. Today, L&T is a market leader with robust design and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with capacity of more than 1 million units per month.

L&T CEO & MD S.N. Subrahmanyan, who joined the 25 years of celebration at Mysuru campus, lauded the team for its valuable contribution to the business growth. He also emphasised on the need to envisage new geographical boundaries, explore the potential in allied products and focus on new technologies to remain a market leader.
