Teacher suspended for fifth time!

April 15, 2017

Kollegal – Chamarajanagar District DDPI Manjula has suspended a teacher for threatening higher officials and for dereliction of duty. Chandrashekar, serving at Pachedoddi Government School, is the suspended teacher.

Incidentally, this is the fifth time that Chandrashekar has been suspended for his wayward ways.

Education Officer Thimmegowda, after learning about Chandrashekar failing to perform his duties at school, had asked him to take classes regularly, when Chandrashekar threatened the officer. Following this, the BEO had submitted a 3-page report to the DDPI. Resource Person Mahadevaprasad and Chamarajanagar Education Officer Manjunath too had complained to higher authorities on Chandrashekar not discharging his duties. Taking into account all these, the DDPI suspended him.

It may be recalled that SOM’s sister concern Mysooru Mithra had recently published a detailed report on the arrogance of Chandrashekar, who often skipped taking classes.
