Mysuru: The birth centenary of Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar was celebrated at the Mysore Palace on July 18 and in Bangalore Palace on July 20. However, according to the Hindu calendar, his birth centenary falls on Ashada Krishna Panchami on July 22, 2019.

In this connection, a musical concert is arranged at the temple premises atop Chamundi Hill at 7 pm today and Dr. R.S. Nandakumar will render the Krithis (compositions). Entry is free and everyone can attend the concert, according to sources from the erstwhile royal family.
