Twelve mobile phones worth about Rs. 1.5 lakh recovered

Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Nov. 14 have arrested two notorious pick pockets and mobile phone lifters, while they were trying to sell the stolen phones near an electronics shop on K.T. Street in city.

The arrested are Abdul Jameel of Bharat Nagar and Suresh of Hootagalli. A case has been registered at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.

DCP M. Muthuraj and CCB ACP V. Mariyappa supervised CCB Inspector C. Kiran Kumar, ASI Chandregowda and staff Ramaswamy, P.N. Lakshmikanth, C. Chikkanna, M.R. Ganesh, Yakub Shariff, C.N. Shivaraju, V. Anand, Anil, Niranjan, Chamundamma and Gautham in the nabbing and recovery operation.
