Mysuru: Marking its 40th anniversary, Nrityalaya Trust, an academy of performing arts, has organised a 3-day cultural event Nalavattara Nalivu – Nitya Nartana Parva at Jaganmohan Palace from Dec. 20.

Academy President Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra said that the celebrations will be held from Dec. 20 to Dec. 22. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. Art patron K.V. Murthy will be the chief guest. On the occasion, Dr. N.S. Taranath, M.Y. Puttanna and Dr. K. Kumar will be felicitated. During the 3-day event, eminent artistes will be presenting music and dance programmes including Kathak. District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev and other dignitaries will be present.

The valedictory will be held on Dec. 22 at 4.30 pm in which renowned novelist Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa and other distinguished personalities will be present.
