Written exam for Police Sub-Inspector recruitment held

Mysuru:  The written exam for recruitment of Police Sub-Inspectors (Civil) was held today at nine centres across the city, amidst tight Police security. The written exam was held in two sessions — first paper (10  am to 11.30 am) and second paper (1 pm to 2.30 pm).

The exam passed off peacefully, with no untoward incidents reported from any of the nine centres.

A total of 5,240 candidates were eligible to appear for the exam. The centres included Maharani Women’s Commerce and Management College, Paduvarahalli, Vidyavardhaka First Grade College on Seshadri Iyer Road, St. Philomena’s College, SBRR Mahajana College and Chinmaya PU College, Jayalakshmipuram, among others.

City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna and other top Police officials visited the centres.
