Kalaburagi: The logo of 85th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be held from Feb. 5 to 7 at Gulbarga University campus was released by Zilla Panchayat President Suvarna Malaji at a function at DC’s office in Kalaburagi yesterday.

The logo shows the great poet of Kalaburagi district Sreevijaya writing the famous epic ‘Kaviraja Marga’ and depicts the historical places Hazarath Kwaja Bandha Nawaz Darga, Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, Kalaburagi Fort, Church and Buddha Vihar. The district being a granary of Tur Dal in the State, a display of Tur Dal Crop is also included along with a photo of Kannadambe, the logo of  Kannada Sahitya Parishat and the folk umbrella.
