Namesake disinfecting against Coronavirus in Vijayanagar!

April 15, 2020

Sir,

This is to bring to the notice of the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner and the Mysuru Deputy Commissioner, who are leaving no stone unturned to combat the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, that the people who are appointed and in-charge to disinfect all the residential areas are not actually doing it properly.

In Vijayanagar 4th Stage, they have thrown a handful of DDT powder in each house entrance. How is it that throwing a handful of DDT will help in disinfecting areas? Will the higher authorities instruct the people concerned to do their duty in a proper manner? Otherwise it will be a futile exercise sans any fruitful results.

– Tapaswini, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 10.4.2020
