Rajashekar Murthy (77), brother of Siddalinga Shivacharya Swamiji of Vatal Mutt, passed away yesterday. Rajashekar Murthy used to take care of agricultural and other works at the Mutt.

He leaves behind his wife Mahadevamma, daughters Komala, Shyamala and Shwetha, son Dayanand and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Srimutt premises, according to sources.
