Former Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa hoisted the Tricolour during the Independence Day (I-Day) celebrations at Congress Bhavan in city on Aug.15. MLC R. Dharmasena, Mysuru District Congress Committee President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar, City Congress President R. Murthy, former MLA M.K. Somashekar, former MP Kagalavadi Shivanna, Dy. Mayor Sridhar, Congress office-bearers, Congress Sevadal office-bearers and other Congress leaders were present. On the occasion, tributes were paid to late KPCC former Secretary Narayanaswamy.
