K.R. Pet: An incident of a teenage girl being allegedly murdered, body chopped into pieces and dumped in a gunny bag has come to light lately in K.R. Pet taluk.

The gunny bag, with body parts inside it, was found by the public near the main gate of Trishul Power Pvt. Ltd, a hydroelectric power generation unit near Hemagiri in K.R. Pet taluk. 

As foul smell was emanating from the gunny bag, the public informed the Police, who rushed to the spot. 

On inspecting the gunny bag, the Police found chopped body pieces of a girl aged between 20 and 25 years. The girl was wearing a nose stud with red stone, has a tattoo of a fish on her right hand, Police said.

Nagamangala Dy.SP Naveen Kumar, K.R. Pet Circle Inspector K.N. Sudhakar, K.R. Pet Rural Sub-Inspector Suresh and others visited the spot and conducted preliminary investigation.

The Police have requested those having any information about the deceased girl to contact K.R. Pet Rural Police, who have registered a case.
