Mysore/Mysuru: As yet another measure for augmenting its resources, the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has begun preparations for allotment of CA (Civic Amenities) sites available with it.

As a first step in this regard, MUDA will soon be issuing a notification for allotment of 262 sites on a 30-year lease. As per the provisions of Karnataka Urban Development Authorities Act, the CA sites available with MUDA can be allotted on priority basis to Central and State Government Departments, Corporations and other Government bodies on a 30-year lease with a 50 percent discount on price.

With MUDA starting the process for allotment of sites, Social Welfare Department, Backward Classes Welfare Department and such other Departments in the city and district, which are in need of land for construction of Hostels etc., can apply with all particulars before Dec.31, 2020 according to MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B.Natesh.
