ST tag: Thousands of Kurubas from city to take part in Bengaluru convention tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Thousands of Kuruba community members will take part in the convention to take place at Bengaluru on Feb.7, seeking ST tag for the community. 

Announcing this at a press meet here recently, Advocate and Kuruba community leader Ramakrishna said that the convention will take place at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) on Tumakuru Road on Feb.7. 

Pointing out that the convention is aimed at pressing the State and the Centre for including Kuruba community under ST (Scheduled Tribe) list, he said that lakhs of community members from across                                                            the State will be taking part in the convention. 

He appealed members of  Haalumatha Samaja and all other likeminded organisations  to take part in the convention.
