The following individuals / institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the Adoption Fee: Siddharth Hari, Bengaluru – Indian Crested Porcupine & Russels Viper (Rs. 5,500); S. Manish Babu, Bengaluru – Leopard Cat (Rs. 5,000); Shrishail V. Kalaburgi, Bengaluru – Indian Cobra, Common Barn Owl & Leopard Cat (Rs. 10,500); H. Anoop, Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500); B.N. Akarsh, Bengaluru – Himalayan Goral (Rs. 5,000); Unnathi A. Rao, Bengaluru – Star Tortoise & Common Rat Snake (Rs. 3,000) and Lavanya, Mysuru – Spotted Deer (Rs. 7,500), according to a press release, from the Zoo Executive Director.
