Mysuru: A poor girl, suffering from bone marrow disease, was helped by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha in getting financial aid to undergo surgery.
Baby Syeda Nabiha, daughter of Syed Madni Ahmed, a resident of Kesare, was suffering from bone marrow disease and was undergoing treatment at Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bengaluru. The doctors there told Ahmed that the girl required a surgery to get rid of the disease. As the family was financially poor, they approached MP Pratap Simha for help.
The MP, who responded immediately, helped them get Rs. 3 lakh from Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, following which the girl underwent successful bone marrow transplantation surgery at the hospital.
Great deed indeed by Hon. MP Pratap Simha, who did not look for the class and cast of the needy and helped the poor Muslim girl wholeheartedly. Although BJP when in power was targeting Muslim community on CM’s security reasons and jailed some of the innocent young people, this step of BJP MP, Hon.Pratap Simha will make Muslims forget the wrongs done against them by earstwhile BJP CM MR. Jagdish Shettar, let’s hope.
