COVID vaccination, remarkably hassle-free

March 18, 2021

Sir,

I would like to relate our experience at the District Hospital, KRS Road, where we received our Covid vaccination.

After being told by some of my friends that the arrangement was excellent and the staff, very professional and courteous, my wife and I went to the District Hospital. It was very easy to go through the process. We were welcomed by the staff and were led to the area where the programme was underway.

We were required to produce our Aadhaar card after sitting in a line for a few minutes. A quick registration, with a photo taken and we were asked to sit in another line to get vaccinated. Social distance perfectly maintained and I was pleasantly surprised to find the usual confusion and anarchy associated with a Government Hospital, conspicuously absent.

The Hospital is kept spotlessly clean and maintained well. Very soon the vaccination was done by a smiling doctor, and after sitting in an adjacent room for about half-an-hour we were allowed to go. All totally free. We are happy to visit the Hospital for our second shot.

I have to confess to your readers that I was a little hesitant about the whole process after watching over the TV some disturbing way the needle was pressed into the arm. But here it was very different, very smooth and very painless. I would suggest to all senior citizens to confidently visit the District Hospital and get vaccinated without any hesitation.

We do hope the Hospital will continue to serve the society in the same orderly and efficient manner in the years to come.
