City shooters excel in State Olympics

The following Members of Mysore District Rifle Association (MDRA) won medals in the recently held  State Olympic Games at Karnataka State Rifle Association, Sports Authority of India Shooting complex in Bengaluru:

Pistol shooting : Rakshit Shastry: Individual Gold & Team Gold (25 meter Standard Pistol), Team Silver (10 meter Air Pistol), 2 Team Bronze (25 meter Centre Fire Pistol and 50 meter Free Pistol); P. Jayanth: Individual Bronze & Team Silver (25 meter Centre Fire Pistol), Individual Bronze & Team Silver (50 meter Free Pistol); Manjunath Prasad: Individual Silver (25 meter Centre Fire Pistol) and Team Bronze (25 meter Standard Pistol).

Rifle shooting : Manjesh Mandanna: Team Bronze (10 meters Air Rifle);   R. Vinod: Team Bronze (10 meters Air Rifle).
