Flex board menace

October 2, 2021

Sir,

I would like to bring to the notice of the MCC authorities about the menace caused by flex boards installed on road sides and hung from the lamp posts along the road dividers.

This causes problems to motorists. Due to the size of the boards, the riders are not able to see the vehicles approaching from the opposite side thus resulting in accidents.

Also, if the boards are not fixed properly there are chances of them falling on the riders causing fatalities.

I am raising this issue now because flex boards have been mushrooming almost on every road especially during this festive season with Dasara and Deepavali around the corner.

I request the MCC authorities to wake up and look into this menace.
