Prohibitory orders imposed around exam centre

In the wake of Commerce exam (Stenography) being  conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, the city Police have imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 Cr.PC, in 200 mt. radius around the lone exam centre in the city — Government Higher Primary School for Girls, Ashoka road, N.R.Mohalla, between 6 am and 6 pm from Jan. 20 to 29.

Accordingly, barring the examinees and the exam staff, no other unauthorised person will be allowed to move around the exam centre. Also, all photo copy shops in the vicinity of the centre have been ordered to shut down on all days of the exam, according to a press release.
