Health cards distributed to Pourakarmikas

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Health Officer Dr. D.G. Nagaraj launched the distribution of ‘Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Karnataka Health Card’ to Pourakarmikas at a programme organised at Town Hall here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Nagaraj said it has been decided to distribute ‘Ayushman Bharat- Arogya Karnataka Health Card’ to all Pourakarmikas of the MCC. Pointing out that the health cards will be distributed to Pourakarmikas of one MCC Zone every day, he said that the MCC is committed for the welfare of Pourakarmikas.

Recalling the services of Pourakarmikas during the outbreak of COVID pandemic two years ago, he said that even now, when the third wave of attack has struck, the Pourakarmikas are doing their job as usual, striving for keeping the city clean.

Pourakarmika Association President N. Mara, office-bearers T. Srinivas, Mohan Kumar, C.R. Rachaiah and others were present.
