Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist, CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), will be speaking on Gender Sensitisation on the occasion of National Girl Child Day (Jan. 24) at the second sensitisation or mentoring workshop for GATI (Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions) organised by the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, by ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, UP, which will be conducted in a virtual mode.
ICAR-IVRI has been chosen among the top 30 selected institutions from all over the country for implementation of Pilot on ‘GATI,’ a prestigious Project of the Department of Science & Technology, GoI, announced on Feb. 28, 2020, the National Science Day, by the President of India at a celebratory programme dedicated to Women in Science held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
