Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, who broke into a bar at Siddalingapura, have decamped with Rs. 70,000 cash from the bar.

The theft took place at S.K. Bar and Restaurant and the incident came to light at about 7 am on May 8, when one Rajendra, who had come to clean the front portion of the bar noticed the shutters of the bar forcibly opened.

Based on the information provided by Rajendra and on inspecting the bar, it was found that Rs. 70,000, which was kept in the cash box, had been stolen, according to the complaint lodged by bar owner Dinesh.

Metagalli Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
