Woman’s gold jewellery stolen in relative’s house

Mysore/Mysuru: A woman, who had come to her relative’s house at J.P. Nagar 2nd Stage in city, to attend a marriage ceremony, has lost her gold jewellery in the house. The lady, whose jewellery is stolen is 52-year-old Sujatha, a resident of Kalyananagar in Bengaluru. Sujatha, had come to the house of her relative Dakshayini, to attend the wedding of Dakshayini’s son Vikram in Mangaluru.

In her complaint, Sujatha has stated that she went to Mangaluru along with Dakshayini’s family members and after attending the wedding, she returned and stayed in the house of Dakshayini.

On May 13, she noticed one pearl necklace, four pair of gold earrings and one gold fingering, kept in her kit bag missing and asked her relative and her family members about it, only to get a negative reply. Suspecting that the family members of her relative and their domestic help may have stolen her jewellery, Sujatha, on May 20 lodged a complaint at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station.
