Dr. No: The lucky patient!

July 5, 2017

Sir,

KBG’s Point Blank titled “Dr. No” published in SOM dated July 3 reminded me of a similar incident. Recently, one of my employees had suffered a similar predicament. He had visited the K.R. Hospital, where the abscess had been opened surgically and the pus squeezed out. The wound was then dressed and he was prescribed some medication.

Within a couple of days, the wound was again swollen with pus, causing him acute pain.

I decided to take charge. I called up Dr. Nagaraj, the yoga expert, who had been featured in your newspaper a few years ago. He directed me to buy a homoeopathic medicine, HEPAR SULPH, one dram.  It cost me Rs.20 ! I administered two doses (maybe about 1/10th of a dram).  Within 3 days, the wound healed and the pain subsided completely.  The total cost may have been about Rs.2 !!

Maybe it’s my employee’s (and my) luck.
