Winners of State-level Tech Fest Avagamah

Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, had organised State-level Technical Fest ‘AVAGAMAH’ here recently.

It was a platform for exhibiting student’s technical ability and create awareness about the latest research and inventions in the stream of EEE.

Dr. M.H. Sidram, HoD, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, Ramu, HoD, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, D. Banumaiah’s Polytechnic, Mysuru and M. Manu, HoD, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, JSS Polytech, Nanjangud, were the chief guests.

Technical Project Expo and Digital Poster Presentation were held as part of the Fest. Capstone projects from various parts of the State were exhibited.

The project titled Fishermen’s Self Driving Rescue Device presented by Yaseen ulla Khan, N.S. Fawaz Ahamed, S. Bharath, H.P. Manasa, Dept. of EEE, ATMECE, bagged 1st place. Food Grain Storage Management System using IoT presented by M.C. Yashas, Anitha, Vinayak R. Sheeri, M.C. Yashas, Department of EEE, VVIET, bagged 2nd place and New Battery Management System presented by S.B. Praveen Gowda, S. Prajwal, M.V. Charan, Bhanuprakash, Dept. of EEE, ATMECE, bagged 3rd place.

In Digital Poster Presentation on Recent Technologies, Self Stabilising Spoon for Parkinson Disorder presented by Mohammed Ismail, Noor Kamil, Mohammed Ashfaq, Mohammed Syed Yakoob, Dept. of EEE, ATMECE, was awarded 1st place. 

Cash prize and certificates were distributed to winners. Dr. L. Parthasarathy, HoD, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, M. Praveen Kumar, Event Coordinator, Faculty and students were present.
