Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, Mysuru, will be organising a veena concert by Vidu. Revathi Kamath of Bengaluru tomorrow (Aug. 27) at Sri Ramamandira, Jayanagara at 6 pm.

Profile: Vidu. Revathi Kamath is a successful veena artiste and has given performances in many places. She is also well- known as an environmentalist and a leading landscaping architect. With her untiring efforts she had taken up the work of connecting people with nature by bringing life to a dried up lake.

Vidwan Tumkuru Yashaswi, Vidwan B. R. Sreedhar and Vidwan  T.N. Ajay will accompany her on violin, mridanga and ghata respectively.  All music-lovers are welcome to the concert, according to a press release from Sabha Vice-President Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy.
