Heritage Bicycle ride flagged off

Mysore/Mysuru: Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage had organised a Heritage Bicycle Ride as part of the ongoing Dasara festivities.

District Minister S.T. Somashekar flagged-off the rally this  morning near Town Hall in city.

Over hundred cyclists in the age group of 15 to 60 years from various districts across the State including Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu and Bengaluru participated in the Bicycle ride.

Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that all the participants will visit heritage structures in Mysuru by cycling for which suitable arrangements have been made by the Department.

MLA L. Nagendra and Officials of the Archaeology Department were present during the programme.
