Mysore/Mysuru: The book titled ‘Maatu Haadagali Haadu Matagali,’ a compilation of articles on theatre by writer and publisher Ganesh Amingad, has been selected for  ‘Dr. Thontada Siddalinga Sri’ Book Prize given by Kannada Pustaka Parishat, Vijayapura, for the year 2021.

The prize carries a cash of Rs. 5,000, a memento and citation.

The award will be presented to him at a programme to be held at Kadani in Alameda taluk of Vijayapura district on Oct. 29 at 11 am.

On the occasion, Beragu Prakashana of Kadani has organised ‘Pustakotsava’ (Book Festival) and a total of 32 books brought out by Beragu Prakashana will be released, according to a press release from Kannada Pustaka Parishat Convenor Shankara Baichabala.
