Rainbow of umbrellas under raining clouds

November 13, 2022

The Heritage City drenched in incessant rains on Friday and Saturday and was covered in a thick blanket of fog. From school-going children to office-going men and women, all managed to reach their destinations, dripping wet. Amidst unhindered, heavy and light showers, Star of Mysore photographer M.N. Lakshminarayana Yadav got a glimpse of the Dufferin Clock Tower area on the busy Sayyaji Rao Road where street vendors opened huge umbrellas against the downpour, protecting their commodities and themselves from the chilling raindrops. They were attending to only a couple of customers who shopped while most of the people remained indoors. The colourful umbrellas all over made one feel as though a ‘Rainbow’ had descended onto the ground.
