This refers to the article titled “End of the tale of two stalwarts” by Dr. Javeed Nayeem in Star of Mysore dated Nov.27.

It was a very interesting and heart-touching article that spoke about the relationship between the Guru and Shishya — what is described as Guru-Shishya Parampare — at a time when this relationship is fading in the society in general.

I may also add at this point of time the name of another great devoted surgeon who demonstrated an artery in the area of appendix which goes by his name “The Artery of Seshachalam” found in the surgery text book.
