Voter enrolment to continue till Dec. 8

Mysore/Mysuru: The special voter list revision drive in view of the forthcoming Assembly polls is underway and all eligible voters whose names have been left out, can enrol for electoral rolls till Dec. 8.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. K.V. Rajendra said that special revision drive is underway and members of the public can file their objections to the revised list. Asking voters to check for their names in the electoral rolls, the DC said that the names of those left out, can be included till Dec. 8.

Continuing, the DC said that eligible Non-Resident Indian (NRI) voters too can enrol their names in the electoral rolls. They have to fill Form 6-a mentioning their address as in their passport. Likewise, those in defence services who are eligible to vote,  too can enrol their names in the electoral rolls. Also, defence personnel can enrol the names of their spouses through service record office in their jurisdiction.
