Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised two Bharatanatyam recitals today (Mar.3) at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar.

The first programme between 6 pm and 7 pm will be presented by Dr. H.R.  Manaswini, a ‘B’ Grade artiste at Doordarshan. She started training in Bharatanatyam at the age of 5 under Guru Sumana Nagesh and continued further training under Guru Vidushi Prathiba Prahallad, Guru B. Bhanumathi and higher training under Guru Sheela Chandrashekar. Dr. Manaswini did her Rangapravesham in 2002. 

The second programme from 7 pm onwards will be by the students of Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal University of Music and Performing Arts. The students of Bharatanatyam Department will be presenting a dance recital under the guidance of Dr. Bhuvaneshwari and Vidu. Nayana Shivram.
