Mysore/Mysuru: A two-day Summer Carnival has been organised by Mysuru Santhe on Apr. 1 and 2 at Maharaja’s College Grounds in city.
City Police Commissioner B. Ramesh will inaugurate the event at 11 am along with a few eminent personalities of Mysuru, said the organisers at a press meet in city yesterday.
The Carnival will have over 80 stalls to showcase clothing, footwear, jewellery, artwork, handicrafts, handlooms, upcycled furniture, vintage housewares, garden supplies, toys besides items from other parts of India.
Carnival Theme Decoration will be done in this flea market along with entertainment activities planned for both the evenings to entertain the crowd.
Bharath Gowda, Pooja Joshi, Karthik Mahesh, Snehal Igoor, Smitha Balu and Ramya Gowda are organising this biggest flea market in Mysuru for the 2nd time.
“Summer is a double delight for children and parents as all the exams will be over and they will be looking out for some outdoor activities, shopping and entertainment. We are happy to announce the 2nd Edition of Summer Carnival in Mysuru with a cause. Last year we contributed to Dasara Mahouts children and this time we are contributing to Government School children’s education through Kalisu Foundation, Mysuru,” the organisers said adding that they have roped in celebrities from Mysuru, Bengaluru and other places, representing entertainment, sports and other fields to endorse this cause.
