Artist Ashok V. Bandare and folk artiste Radhabai Maruthi Madara to be conferred with ‘PRT Kala Prashasthi’
Mysore/Mysuru: P.R. Thippeswamy Pratishtana, Department of Kannada and Culture and University College of Visual Arts, Davanagere, have jointly organised ‘P.R. Thippeswamy Kala Sambhra-ma-2023’ at University College of Visual Arts in Davanagere on Apr. 18 at 10.30 am marking the birth centenary of P.R. Thippeswamy.
Addressing a press meet at Patarakartara Bhavan here on Saturday, Pratishtana President Rajashekar Kadamba said that ‘PRT Kala Prashasthi’ for Artist from Bengaluru Ashok V. Bandare and folk artiste (Chowdike gayana) from Belagavi’s Athani Radhabai Maruthi Madara will also be conferred at 4.30 pm on the same day.
Kala Sambhrama, which is being organised from 2014 at various districts across the State will feature painting expo, competitions and seminars. This time, 50 art works of P.R. Thippeswamy will be kept on display in the digitalised form.
Pratishtana Secretary K.C. Mahadeva Shetty, Directors Dr. Mylahalli Revanna and H.R. Chandrashekharaiah were present at the press meet.
