Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Student Induction Programme 2023, NSS-NIE Unit had organised a walkathon for students who joined NIE for the academic year 2023-24, on the theme “Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs” on Sept. 16 in association with Department of Physical Education and Sports, NIE, Mysuru.

The aim of this event was to spread the message on ill-effects of drugs among citizens and encourage them to lead a healthy life. About 400 students and staff of NIE took part in the 5-km event. The walkathon was flagged off by K.N. Keshav Murthy, Veteran Athlete and Alumnus of NIE.
