Mysore/Mysuru: Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bharadwaj Branch, Mysuru, in association with Ramsons Bombe Mane, Mysuru, has organised Dasara doll arrangement contest for women and organisations / associations to create awareness on the importance of the traditional celebrations among the general public and youths.

Judges of the competition will visit the houses of the participants on Oct. 18, 19 and 20 to select the best doll arrangement.

Traditional Dasara dolls must be arranged in three categories — above 5 rows, 4 to 5 rows or minimum 3 rows.

Those interested to participate in the contest may register their names at Bombe Mane, Prathima Gallery in Nazarbad (Ph:0821-2444040; Mob: 98801-11625) or with Padma Panduranga, No. 194, 4th Main Road, 12th Cross, Bank Employees Layout, Bogadi, Mysuru (Mob: 98863-29439).

Last date to register for the event is Oct. 17 by sending 4 photographs and 1 minute video of the doll arrangement via WhatsApp: 98863-29439.

At Balodyana School

Mysuru, Oct. 12- As part of Navarathri, Sri Viveka Balodyana Public School in Jayanagar has organised Dasara dolls show at its premises on Oct. 15 from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm and on Oct. 16 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
